Job Description

**About the Role**

The Account Executive will play a key role in developing the energy services division of Albireo Energy. This involves identifying business opportunities in the energy sector and coordinating with internal teams to grow the company's direct business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leverage Existing Accounts: Develop relationships with key decision-makers at director and executive levels to identify business opportunities and develop projects based on total cost of ownership.
  • Apply Systems Knowledge: Utilize expertise in HVAC, lighting, data centers, and other building systems to integrate and optimize energy efficiency.
  • Learn Building Automation Lines: Familiarize yourself with Albireo Energy's represented building automation lines and communicate the value proposition to customers through presentations and system demonstrations.
  • Work with Operations and Service Departments: Collaborate to develop analytics packages for customers, including dashboards and value-based service agreements.
  • Sell Service Agreements: Identify new customers and system enhancements, and assess customer needs on an ongoing basis.
  • Meet Profitability Expectations: Achieve assigned profitability targets.
  • Complete Strategic Customer Account Plans: Develop plans that meet company standards.

Requirements

  • Education: Mechanical Engineering Degree or equivalent with industry experience.
  • Tech Savviness: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Building Systems Knowledge: Thorough understanding of building systems.
  • Sales Experience: Minimum of five (5) years of sales experience in owner direct (business to business).
  • Network: Robust network of clients.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional written, oral communication, and presentation skills.
  • Multi-Tasking: Ability to handle various priorities.
  • Computer Proficiency: Personal computer proficiency.
