The role involves overseeing the final packaging of diverse product lines within the Biotech sector. Employees are tasked with executing production operations while strictly following Standard Operating Procedures and Work Instruction Documents. This position encompasses routine activities with occasional variations, requiring a moderate level of complexity. Accuracy is critical, as mistakes could result in significant interpretative challenges.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Operate and/or supervise production machinery, making necessary adjustments to ensure efficient operations and high-quality outcomes.
  • Collaborate with fellow technicians to carry out filling, labeling, and packaging of products.
  • Understand production documentation, including product reconciliation, label checks, labor sheets, product fill assessments, and torque evaluations.
  • Adhere to manufacturing documentation meticulously without deviations from specified instructions.
  • Safely manage chemicals and hazardous materials.
  • Comply with all safety regulations and protocols established by the company.
  • Follow ISO 13485 standards and company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Clean and sanitize workspaces, machinery, glassware, or equipment as required.
  • Effectively communicate and collaborate with teams to ensure task and project completion.
  • Perform duties in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities.
  • Be adaptable to work overtime and varying shifts.
  • Carry out other assigned responsibilities.

REQUIREMENTS:
  • Proficiency in basic packaging methods, equipment operation, and record-keeping protocols.
  • Comfortable with handling chemicals.
  • Strong mathematical skills.
  • Ability to follow instructions precisely without deviation.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Prior experience in production or laboratory settings is beneficial but not mandatory.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Regularly stand, walk, use hands to handle objects, tools, or controls, talk, hear, and smell.
  • Frequently reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • Ability to sit for extended periods as required by the nature of the work.
  • Frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
  • Vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Work in a moderate noise level environment.
