POSITION SUMMARY:
This role is essential for the final packaging of diverse product lines within the Biotech sector. The incumbent will execute production processes by strictly following Standard Operating Procedures and Work Instruction Documents. The position involves routine tasks with occasional deviations, necessitating a moderate level of complexity. Precision is critical, as inaccuracies could result in significant interpretative challenges.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Operate and/or oversee production machinery, making necessary adjustments to ensure seamless operations and high-quality outcomes.
  • Collaborate with fellow technicians to carry out filling, labeling, and packaging of products.
  • Understand production documentation, including product reconciliation, label reconciliation, labor sheets, product fill checks, and torque checks.
  • Adhere meticulously to manufacturing documentation without deviations from established instructions.
  • Safely manage chemicals and hazardous materials.
  • Comply with all company safety regulations and procedures.
  • Follow ISO 13485 standards and company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Clean and sanitize work areas, machinery, glassware, or equipment as required.
  • Effectively communicate and collaborate with workgroups to ensure task and project completion.
  • Perform duties in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
  • Be adaptable to work overtime and varying shifts.
  • Carry out other assigned responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Proficient in basic packaging techniques, equipment operation, and protocol record retention.
  • Comfortable with handling chemicals.
  • Strong computational abilities.
  • Ability to follow instructions precisely without deviation.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
  • Previous exposure to production or laboratory environments is beneficial but not mandatory.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Regularly stand, walk, use hands to handle objects, tools, or controls, talk, hear, and smell.
  • Frequently reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • Ability to sit for extended periods as required by the nature of the work.
  • Frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
  • Vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Work in a moderate noise level environment.

EDUCATION:
Accredited High School Diploma/GED
