Your Role

The Financial Performance Analyst will focus on evaluating and enhancing the financial efficiency and processes associated with the revenue cycle. This role involves close collaboration with the finance and billing teams to pinpoint areas for improvement and ensure adherence to industry standards. Key responsibilities include managing, configuring, and optimizing electronic health records (EHR) pertinent to the revenue cycle, as well as monitoring, analyzing, and reporting on metrics related to billing, collections, and reimbursements.
  • Daily Responsibilities
    1. Gather and analyze data concerning the revenue cycle, including billing, collections, and reimbursements.
    2. Prepare and deliver comprehensive financial and operational reports to management, including dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs).
    3. Propose and implement process enhancements to boost efficiency and accuracy.
    4. Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to optimize operations and improve financial results.
  • Additional Responsibilities
    1. Ensure compliance of all revenue cycle processes with federal, state, and local regulations, and assist in audit preparations.
    2. Identify potential risks and contribute to the development of mitigation strategies.
    3. Support budgeting and forecasting efforts as required by the Chief Financial Officer.
Your Profile

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented with a solid foundation in data analysis. They should possess the ability to collaborate effectively across departments, actively listening to streamline organizational processes.
  • Required Qualifications
    1. Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, healthcare administration, or a related discipline.
    2. 3-5 years of experience in revenue cycle management, financial analysis, or a related field.
    3. Proficiency in revenue cycle management software and tools (e.g., Epic, Cerner).
    4. Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools.
    5. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
    6. Excellent communication and presentation skills in English.
    7. Knowledge of healthcare billing, coding, and reimbursement processes.
    8. Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Preferred Qualifications
    1. Master's degree in finance, accounting, healthcare administration, or a related field.
    2. Experience in a healthcare environment, particularly in revenue cycle management.
