The Role You Play

The Revenue Cycle Analyst is responsible for analyzing and improving financial performance and processes related to the revenue cycle, working closely with the finance and billing team to identify opportunities for process improvements and ensure compliance with industry regulations. Responsibilities also include EHR management, configuration, and optimization related to the revenue cycle as well as monitoring, analyzing, and reporting on various metrics related to billing, collections, and reimbursements.

  • The Day-to-Day
    1. Collect and analyze data related to the revenue cycle, including billing, collections, and reimbursements.
    2. Prepare and present detailed financial and operational reports to management, including dashboards to monitor KPIs.
    3. Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
    4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline operations and improve financial outcomes.
  • Other Duties as Assigned
    1. Ensure all revenue cycle processes comply with federal, state, and local regulations and assist with audit compliance.
    2. Identify areas of risk and help develop strategies to mitigate them.
    3. Support budgeting and forecasting activities as needed by the CFO.

Who You Are

The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented with a strong background in data analysis. They should also be able to work effectively across departments, hearing and listening to streamline processes across the organization.

  • Required
    1. Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, healthcare administration, or a related field
    2. 3-5 years’ experience in revenue cycle management, financial analysis, or a related area
    3. Proficiency in revenue cycle management software and tools (e.g., Epic, Cerner)
    4. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools
    5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    6. Excellent communication and presentation skills using the English language
    7. Knowledge of healthcare billing, coding, and reimbursement processes.
    8. Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Preferred
    1. Master’s degree in finance, accounting, healthcare administration, or a related field
    2. Experience in a healthcare setting, particularly within revenue cycle management
