Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with other service lines and colleagues to deliver integrated services to clients.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, gaining an understanding of their business operations and objectives.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, anticipating client needs and delivering exceptional service.
  • Identify opportunities to broaden service offerings and generate new business within the agricultural sector.
  • Stay informed about trends, challenges, and opportunities within the agricultural industry.
  • Engage in industry events, conferences, and professional organizations to enhance knowledge and network with peers.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.
  • CPA license preferred, but not mandatory.
  • 5+ years of experience in tax preparation and review of individual and business tax returns.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in technical skills, work quality, and adherence to professional and firm standards.
  • Ability to act as a trusted advisor to clients while maintaining strict confidentiality.
  • Highly motivated with the capability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively, multitask, and complete assignments within budget.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with owners and staff.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex tax concepts to clients.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Proficient in Windows-based computers and Microsoft Office programs; QuickBooks experience is a plus.
  • Meticulous attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
