Key Responsibilities:
- As a Private Equity Investment Analyst, you will spearhead efforts to assess new investment opportunities and pinpoint critical investment drivers to enhance value creation post-acquisition.
- Your role will involve engaging with senior executives, founders, and external advisors, representing K1 while advancing your career as a software investment professional.
- Daily tasks will include constructing dynamic financial models, conducting proprietary analyses, and reviewing materials provided by companies as part of cross-functional deal teams.
- You will present potential investment opportunities to K1's Investment Committee alongside your deal team colleagues.
- Collaboration with finance teams at portfolio companies to develop quarterly and annual budgets will be a key aspect of your role.
- You will coordinate data gathering and due diligence sessions with co-investors, lenders, and other financial sources to assess future capital requirements.
- Working closely with deal teams, finance, accounting, legal, and operations teams at K1 will be essential.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor's Degree is required (first-generation college students are encouraged to apply).
- A strong academic record is essential, regardless of the field of study.
- The ability to adapt, focus on results, and manage multiple projects simultaneously is crucial.
- Excellent analytical, strategic, and implementation skills are necessary.
