Job Title: Director of Business Development

At Metrica Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Business Development to join our team. As a key member of our business development and capture team, you will be responsible for developing strategic direction and account strategies to drive business growth and expansion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Explore and identify new business opportunities in the Federal Government and Commercial Marketplace
  • Analyze customer budgets, requirements, and trends to inform business development strategies
  • Develop and execute proposal development strategies for current and new customers
  • Build and maintain long-term profitable relationships with new and existing accounts
  • Qualify and close award opportunities that meet both long and short-term goals
  • Represent the company at trade shows, events, and symposiums, as required

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, or Communication
  • 10+ years' experience in government/commercial contracting as prime contractor and procurement with 3 years of senior level experience
  • Knowledge of federal business operations and Gov Win
  • Strong IT background and proficiency with MS office products
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Diplomatic, persuasive, and articulate communication style
