We are in search of a Head of IT Operations to enhance the capabilities of Garner's IT services and elevate the user experience for our employees. This position will report directly to the VP of Platform Engineering and Security.

Garner is headquartered in New York City, and this role requires in-office presence at least three days a week.
Key Responsibilities

  • Design, manage, enhance, budget for, and secure the IT services provided by Garner.
  • Enhance user efficiency and productivity, particularly during the onboarding process.
  • Develop solutions adhering to high engineering standards and ensure others maintain these standards.
  • Investigate and promote improved techniques, processes, and designs within the team.
  • Collaborate with team members to execute strategic IT initiatives.
  • Support Garner's employees throughout their tenure with the company.
  • Ensure the security of Garner's IT services in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Work with various stakeholders to guarantee a highly available and efficient product for users.
Technology Stack

MacOS, Jamf, Okta, Jira Service Desk
Preferred Qualifications
  • 5+ years of L2 experience in supporting enterprise end users.
  • 4+ years of experience as the lead L2 for a support function.
  • 3+ years of experience managing an IT program (roadmap, L1/L2 management, etc.).
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, along with stakeholder management abilities.
  • Proficiency with Jamf and managing Mac endpoints.
  • Expertise in JIRA Service Desk.

The compensation range for this position is competitive and will be determined based on various factors, including qualifications and skills. This role is also eligible for equity incentives and comprehensive benefits plans, as well as performance bonuses.
