Key Responsibilities:
  • Operational Excellence: Analyze and enhance operational processes to elevate overall performance. Spearhead initiatives aimed at optimizing workflows, boosting efficiency, and minimizing costs while upholding quality.

  • Inventory Coordination: Collaborate with store teams and cross-functional departments to ensure precise inventory management and timely resolution of discrepancies.
  • Systems Management: Serve as the in-person expert on various systems and IT requirements, partnering with IT leadership to address the needs of the retail channel.
  • Project Oversight: Ensure that retail operational projects are thoroughly vetted, budgeted, and managed through to completion.
  • Vendor Relations: Cultivate and manage relationships with external vendors to guarantee timely delivery of products and services. Negotiate contracts and address any performance issues.
  • Risk Assessment: Identify potential operational risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, ensuring business continuity through effective contingency planning.
  • Compliance Management: Ensure adherence to relevant regulations and industry standards, updating procedures as necessary to maintain compliance.
  • Communication: Foster best practices across the retail channel and beyond to enhance operational efficiency. Provide executive summaries on operational activities and report on KPIs.
  • Customer-Centric Focus: Advocate for a customer-first approach in retail operations, striving to exceed expectations and enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Brand Presentation: Implement improvements to visual brand standards, enhancing both store and product displays to elevate the customer experience and drive sales.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 7 years of proven experience in retail operations management, with at least 3 years in a similar role demonstrating a track record of operational excellence.
  • Familiarity with ERM systems, with NetSuite experience being advantageous.
  • Experience in successfully launching retail locations and establishing back-of-house operations.
  • Strong leadership capabilities with a talent for inspiring and motivating teams.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficient in project management and change management methodologies.
  • Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance standards.
  • Experience with Lean Six Sigma or similar continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
  • Proficient in Excel and Google Suite.
