Position Overview

The Foster Care Program Coordinator will oversee and manage a range of Foster Care initiatives to guarantee comprehensive, culturally sensitive support for unaccompanied refugee and migrant children and their families.

This role serves as a vital link between partner organizations, our organization, and federal foster care entities.

Key responsibilities include ensuring the quality and effectiveness of services through robust program management, monitoring, data analysis, and evaluation, along with providing training and technical support.

Collaboration with the Associate Director for Foster Care is essential to identify trends and opportunities for enhancing program services, addressing training needs, and implementing strategies for effective service delivery.

This position also offers support to the Associate Director, fellow Program Officers, and the Program Assistant.

This role can be performed remotely with occasional travel as required.

Key Responsibilities
• Oversee and manage Foster Care grants to partner agencies, ensuring adherence to child welfare best practices and compliance with organizational policies.
• Facilitate collaboration with Foster Care partners providing services to unaccompanied migrant and refugee children, ensuring effective communication and peer learning across the network.
• Offer support and technical assistance to partners regarding service delivery, documentation, reporting, and compliance with best practices and federal obligations.
• Conduct ongoing monitoring and evaluation of services to ensure quality and effectiveness.
