Job Summary:

Advanced Behavioral Health, Inc. is seeking a skilled mental health therapist to provide psychotherapy services to children in out-of-home care and their families. As a Foster Care Therapist, you will work with our team to provide a wraparound approach to treatment, specializing in Psychiatry, Off-Site Counseling Services, On-Site therapy, and Therapeutic Mentoring.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions to children and their families.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans to promote successful foster care transitions and permanency plan goals.
  • Collaborate with referral sources and other members of the client's treatment team to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Maintain accurate clinical notes and documentation in accordance with established standards.
  • Respect client confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or a related field.
  • Licensure in the state of Maryland as a LMSW, LCSW-C, LGPC, or LCPC.
  • Previous experience in psychotherapy is desired.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and travel as needed.
  • Strong cultural competence and empathy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Benefits:

  • Competitive salary range: $63,500 - $72,500 based on licensure and experience.
  • Sign-on and retention bonuses available.
  • Full-time employment with 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday.
