Job SummaryWe are seeking a Director of Strategic Partnerships and Business Development to lead and expand our funding efforts through the development of strategic partnerships with pharmaceutical and biotech companies. This pivotal role is responsible for identifying and cultivating key industry relationships, securing sponsorships, and obtaining grant funding essential for advancing care and research for amyloidosis patients.
Key Responsibilities- Cultivate collaborative relationships with life science companies involved in amyloidosis research as the primary ARC contact.
- Develop and implement strategies to expand engagement, strengthen partnerships, and identify growth opportunities in amyloidosis research and therapeutic development.
- Contribute to program development, set goals and objectives for partnership initiatives, and be responsible for raising funds to support these initiatives in alignment with ARC's mission and organizational priorities.
- Accountable for achieving all revenue targets and associated operational metrics.
- Monitor partnership metrics, fundraising outcomes, and financial performance, providing regular reports to support informed decision-making.
- Provide strategic direction and oversight for the ASPIRE Industry Collaborative program.
- Lead Executive Steering Committee comprised of ASPIRE committee members and key stakeholders, with goal of identifying and prioritizing ASPIRE's strategic near and long-term goals and ensuring alignment with ARC's overarching objectives for ASPIRE.
- Oversee ASPIRE programs and initiatives implemented in partnership with ASPIRE working group members and vendors, including issue resolution, strategic decision-making, and optimizing resource allocation to ensure successful outcomes.
- Bachelor's Degree with 10+ years, or a Master's degree with 7+ years of proven experience in partnership management, strategic planning, and fundraising within the pharmaceutical or healthcare sector.
- Strong leadership abilities with a demonstrated capacity to foster collaboration, drive innovation, and achieve results.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with proven negotiation abilities to effectively influence stakeholders and mobilize teams toward shared objectives.
