Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Development and Community Engagement to join our team at BARRY L PRICE REHABILITATION CENTER. This is a unique opportunity to lead our fundraising and communications efforts, building strong relationships with supporters and fostering a culture of philanthropy within our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy, including annual giving, major gifts, foundation and corporate support, and events.
  • Build and sustain relationships with supporters, donors, and stakeholders, identifying new funding sources and opportunities.
  • Lead the development of a long-term development plan, aligning with the organization's strategic goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with the CEO and senior leadership to develop and implement a comprehensive communication plan, building internal community and external connections.
  • Direct the organization's internal and external communications activities, marketing strategies, and online content creation.
Requirements
  • 5-10 years of experience in a communications or fund development role.
  • Proven track record of success in building relationships, developing and implementing fundraising strategies, and leading teams.
  • Strong strategic ability, project management skills, and results-orientation.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and storytelling skills, written and oral.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize multiple assignments, delegate effectively, and deliver quality results on time.
