Position Overview:

The Recruiter plays a pivotal role in delivering strategic talent acquisition support for the Retail & Mortgage sectors at Truist Financial Corporation. This role is essential for identifying, evaluating, interviewing, and recommending qualified candidates to fulfill the staffing needs of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Focus primarily on recruiting mid-level professionals. Provide strategic and consultative recruiting services, including market analysis, competitive insights, candidate sourcing, and development.
  2. Manage relationships with clients and candidates at managerial and professional levels.
  3. Oversee the search and selection process for a diverse range of roles, including professional, technical, and niche skill positions, with minimal supervision.
  4. Handle the complete staffing lifecycle, which encompasses networking, talent identification, offer creation, and collaboration with hiring managers.
  5. Support diversity initiatives by developing and executing recruiting strategies and collaborating with business leaders on affirmative action programs.
  6. Ensure a top-tier candidate and stakeholder experience throughout the interviewing and hiring process.
  7. Manage applicant workflows through the ATS, assessing candidate qualifications and maintaining compliance.

Qualifications:

Required:

  1. A minimum of 2 years of professional recruiting experience, including candidate sourcing strategies and management of the end-to-end recruiting process.
  2. Strong credibility and the ability to guide managers in making informed hiring decisions.
  3. Ability to stay informed about sourcing strategies and market trends.
  4. Self-motivated with strong organizational skills.
  5. Experience in providing fact-based talent assessments to guide hiring decisions.
  6. A collaborative team player who can adapt to a fast-paced environment.

Preferred:

  1. A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
  2. Extensive experience in passive candidate sourcing within financial services, particularly in the Banking and Mortgage sectors.
  3. Demonstrated understanding of business operations and success drivers.
  4. Ability to influence business leaders and make strategic hiring recommendations.

Work Environment:

This role may require sitting for extended periods, occasional standing and walking, and the ability to lift up to 10 lbs. Candidates should be able to effectively communicate with individuals in person and over the phone.
