The base salary range for this position is dependent upon experience and location, ranging from: $83,804 - $104,756

Position Overview

The Warehouse & Reporting Analyst for Wind & Solar spare parts plays a crucial role in ensuring the precision of all data-related tools and reporting mechanisms within the supply chain. This encompasses various systems, including SAP applications, Global Parts Catalog, Power-BI business intelligence solutions, and JIRA business process workflows. This position is essential for fostering ongoing enhancements through our quality initiatives across all supply chain operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, document, and maintain Avangrid Renewables' quality program for all supply chain operations.
  • Collect requirements and spearhead the development of SAP usability enhancements and related applications.
  • Oversee the tracking of critical efficiency projects, acting as project manager for assigned initiatives.
  • Establish and execute a reporting roadmap, implement business intelligence solutions, and maintain Supply Chain BI dashboards as directed by the business Director.
  • Create and implement daily reporting functionalities for desktop metrics to enhance focus and efficiency within the supply chain. Analyze monthly metrics and formulate strategic recommendations with an emphasis on inventory turnover and excess inventory management.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to gather business requirements and strengthen inter-team relationships with Field Operations, Technical Services, and Global support teams to maximize project success. Drive medium-term planning to secure necessary resources for achieving business objectives.
  • Develop and maintain Avangrid's parts master data, ensuring adherence to data control and accuracy standards, updated as required by daily operations and business growth.
  • Assist in the development of inventory forecasting tools and techniques, distinguishing between low-cost high-volume components and high-cost lower volume components. Ensure consideration of turbine failure records, technology-specific variations, and environmental and operational conditions at sites.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Utilize system tools in SAP and SharePoint to establish and maintain the Materials Database supporting Commercial Operations.
  • Implement industry best practices for creating new part numbers and revising existing parts as necessary.
  • Facilitate alternate and direct sourcing efforts by providing comprehensive definitions of all part characteristics in a standardized format.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to implement documented processes and drive process improvements.
  • Develop, maintain, and modify SAP databases to support Operations reporting and business tools.
  • Develop, maintain, and modify Power-BI reports to support Operations reporting and business tools.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Management Information Systems, Supply Chain Management, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in supply chain and inventory functions, with familiarity in Wind & Solar parts preferred.
  • Proficient in database management and all MS Office applications.
  • Experience with ERP systems (preferably SAP), particularly in materials requirements planning (MRP).
  • Understanding of supply chain dynamics within an operations context.
  • Excellent analytical, project management, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage in cross-functional teams with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and exhibit a commitment to company policies and principles.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proven experience in developing, maintaining, and optimizing ERP data.
  • Experience in wind & solar plant supply chain management.
  • Power-BI certification.
  • Experience in Inventory and Materials Management.
  • Self-starter with a track record of performance in a matrixed organization.
