We are currently seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join our Supervision Operations unit within Supervision and Credit (S+C). The Senior Business Analyst will leverage business acumen and analytical expertise to assess existing workflows, offer recommendations for operational enhancements, and lead the execution of solutions and strategies. Additionally, this role will provide operational and administrative support to examination teams and develop management information system (MIS) reporting and analysis to inform decisions regarding group operations, planning, and business challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform operational support tasks throughout the examination lifecycle, including proofreading supervisory documents, managing documentation, tracking results, and verifying exam content across various applications.
  • Establish, implement, and oversee a quality management framework. Facilitate the development of reporting mechanisms to deliver real-time insights into quality metrics and performance.
  • Collaborate across departments to comprehend and map current processes. Identify key controls, roles, responsibilities, challenges, and bottlenecks to enhance existing workflows.
  • Define, implement, and communicate new operational processes and strategic solutions.
  • Gather and define business requirements for the creation of MIS reporting and analysis. Analyze relevant MIS, business data, and metrics to uncover insights and trends.
  • Lead projects and initiatives to address business needs. Develop, analyze, and monitor metrics to ensure the effectiveness of business and project outcomes.
  • Guide change management efforts to promote user adoption of new technologies and quality control processes, including managing key implementation results and assessing changes in business processes.
  • Design and deliver training and training materials for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with examination teams to create and update internal procedures and documentation based on business changes.
  • Prepare and present focused and insightful reports, persuasive presentations, or other communications to a wide range of internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
  • Research and evaluate external best practices for internal application.
  • Support cross-functional activities, projects, and data analysis as required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Typically requires five or more years of relevant experience in project management, business requirements gathering, process mapping, business process improvement, and/or analytical methodologies.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel, Visio, SQL, PowerApps, or similar tools.
  • Experience in collecting, transforming, analyzing, and reporting data to drive business decisions.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally to meet internal and/or external partner needs and effectively communicate moderate to complex information to diverse audiences.
  • Experience managing shifting priorities while executing tasks effectively and consistently.
  • Familiarity with visualization software (e.g., Tableau) is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Experience in financial institution supervision and knowledge of Federal Reserve System-level activities is beneficial but not required.
  • Willingness to travel up to 5%.
  • This position requires access to confidential supervisory information, which is limited to "Protected Individuals." Protected Individuals include, but are not limited to, U.S. citizens and U.S. nationals, U.S. permanent residents who are not yet eligible to apply for naturalization, and U.S. permanent residents who have applied for naturalization within six months of being eligible to do so or who will sign a declaration of intent to apply for naturalization before they begin employment.
