Job Overview:
This role is pivotal in overseeing the financial budgeting and forecasting activities for Iberdrola USA (Networks). The Lead Analyst will engage in performance evaluation and essential reporting for the four operating companies within the Networks sector.

As a key contributor, this position will spearhead financial analysis and research initiatives concerning business challenges, delivering critical financial insights and strategic recommendations to senior management to align with the primary objectives of IUSA Networks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Actively participate in the financial planning process for the Networks division, which includes the development, assessment, and dissemination of financial data to management and stakeholders.
  • Evaluate the performance of the Networks business against established budgets, forecasts, and objectives.
  • Guide adjustments to budgets and forecasts while addressing inquiries from stakeholders.
  • Assist in the formulation and modification of corporate accounting and reporting policies.
  • Conduct comprehensive financial analyses, business assessments, and profitability evaluations, presenting findings to management.
  • Prepare monthly variance reports detailing various financial metrics as directed by the Networks Business Analysis and Planning management.
  • Develop and review financial planning documents, financial statements, and models for regulated affiliates as necessary.
  • Communicate financial performance results to both Networks Business Analysis and Planning management and senior leadership.
  • Assess IUSA Networks' risks and opportunities concerning annual budgeting and forecasting processes utilizing risk modeling techniques.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
  • Associate's Degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong collaborative skills.
  • Exceptional analytical capabilities.
  • Proficient communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Experience in financial modeling.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
