This encompasses various systems, including SAP applications, Global Parts Catalog, Power-BI business intelligence solutions, and JIRA business process workflow solutions. This position is essential for promoting ongoing enhancements through our quality program across all supply chain operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, document, implement, and sustain Avangrid Renewables' quality program across all supply chain functions.
  • Collect requirements and spearhead the development of enhancements for SAP usability and related applications.
  • Oversee the tracking of vital efficiency initiatives (tools & strategy) and serve as project manager for assigned projects.
  • Establish and execute a reporting roadmap, implement business intelligence solutions, and maintain Supply Chain BI dashboards as directed by the business Director.
  • Create and implement daily reporting functionalities for desktop metrics to enhance focus and efficiency within the supply chain. Analyze monthly metrics and formulate strategic recommendations with an emphasis on inventory turnover and excess inventory management.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to gather business requirements and foster inter-team relationships with Field Operations, Technical Services, and Global support teams to maximize project outcomes. Facilitate medium-term planning to secure necessary resources for achieving business objectives.
  • Manage and uphold Avangrid's parts master data, ensuring compliance with data control and accuracy standards, and update as needed based on daily operations and business growth.
  • Assist in the development of inventory forecasting tools and techniques, distinguishing between low-cost high-volume components and high-cost lower volume large corrective components. Consider turbine failure records, technology-specific variations, and environmental and operational conditions at the site.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Utilize system tools in SAP and SharePoint to create and maintain the Materials Database supporting Commercial Operations.
  • Apply industry best practices for establishing new part numbers and revising existing parts as necessary.
  • Facilitate alternate and direct sourcing efforts by providing comprehensive definitions of all part characteristics in a standardized format.
  • Collaborate with all internal stakeholders to implement documented processes and enhance process efficiency.
  • Develop, maintain, and modify the SAP database to support Operations reporting and business tools.
  • Develop, maintain, and modify Power-BI reports to support Operations reporting and business tools.

Required Qualifications

  • Proven ability to engage in cross-functional teams with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and demonstrate commitment to company policies and principles.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrated success in developing, maintaining, and optimizing ERP data.
  • Experience in wind & solar plant supply chain management.
  • Power-BI certification.
  • Experience in Inventory and Materials Management.
  • Self-starter with a proven track record in a matrixed organization.

Additional Success Factors

  • Proactive in taking actions beyond explicit job responsibilities; sets high performance goals and initiates action rather than merely responding to others.
  • Ability to cultivate and engage in a productive team environment by establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with colleagues, managers, customers, contractors, and vendors.
  • Maintains focus on tasks, effectiveness, and strives to achieve goals despite encountering obstacles.
  • Capable of efficiently managing multiple, concurrent, time-sensitive projects and priorities.
