Job Overview:
This role is pivotal in overseeing the financial budgeting and forecasting activities for Iberdrola USA (Networks).

In addition, the Lead Analyst will facilitate performance evaluations and essential reporting metrics for the four operational entities within the Networks sector.

This position is responsible for spearheading financial analyses and investigative projects related to business challenges, providing senior management with crucial financial insights and strategic recommendations to align with the core objectives of IUSA Networks.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Actively participate in the financial planning processes for the Networks division, including the creation, assessment, and dissemination of financial information to management and stakeholders.
  • Conduct evaluations of the Networks business performance against established budgets, forecasts, and objectives.
  • Advise on budgetary adjustments and address inquiries from key stakeholders regarding forecasts.
  • Contribute to the formulation and modification of corporate accounting and reporting standards.
  • Manage complex financial analysis, business evaluations, profitability assessments, and cost analysis projects, presenting findings to management.
  • Prepare monthly variance reports detailing various financial metrics as directed by Networks Business Analysis and Planning management.
  • Develop and assess financial planning, statements, and models for regulated affiliates as required.
  • Communicate financial performance results to both Networks Business Analysis and Planning management and senior executives.
  • Analyze IUSA Networks' risks and opportunities in relation to annual budgeting and forecasting, utilizing risk modeling techniques.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:
  • Associate's Degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong team collaboration skills.
  • Exceptional analytical capabilities.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience in financial modeling.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
