The **Sales Consultant** at Guardian Alarm is responsible for generating new business opportunities through referrals and prospecting. This role requires strong sales skills, product knowledge, and excellent communication abilities.

• Self-generate appointments daily through referrals and prospecting

• Prepare proposals for customers incorporating value selling techniques

• Run appointments and close sales

• Provide growth opportunities for sales representatives

**Requirements:**

• Further knowledge of products, services, pricing, methods, history, and reputation of Guardian Alarm

• Prospect for new business from existing customers, new home builders, construction reports, and major commercial corporations

• Create goodwill and further the positive image of Guardian Alarm by acquainting police crime prevention departments in the current geographic territory

• Network with customers at Guardian-sponsored exhibits

• Follow-up with customers after installation to ensure proper expectations have been met

**Preferred Experience:**

• Commercial sales experience

• Security sales experience

• Cold-calling experience

**Education:**

• Some college - Business Administration or related field
