POSITION SUMMARY:

The Retail Sales Representative plays a crucial role in fostering a customer-centric and product-oriented sales environment, ensuring that our core values and guiding principles are integrated into all aspects of store operations. This position is dedicated to delivering an exceptional customer experience while maximizing profitability.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Sales Performance: Achieves company sales targets by employing effective sales strategies and sharing product insights with customers. Assists customers in selecting merchandise that aligns with their preferences and needs.

Maintains up-to-date knowledge of ongoing promotions and pricing strategies. Upholds visual merchandising standards and participates in merchandise presentation and loss prevention initiatives as directed by management.

Customer Service Excellence: Embodies and promotes the principles of outstanding personal service, ensuring a seamless omni-channel experience for customers.

Addresses customer inquiries and resolves issues promptly. Facilitates a swift and efficient checkout process, staying informed on policies related to payments, returns, and exchanges.

Encourages additional purchases at the point of sale, including gift card sales, and enrolls clients in loyalty programs. Cultivates and maintains strong customer relationships through personalized service and communication.

Operational Support: Assists in replenishment activities to ensure the store remains well-stocked and inviting. Aids in fulfilling customer orders and supports visual merchandising efforts, including floor setups and signage placement.

Contributes to maintaining store cleanliness and organization.

Team Collaboration: Fosters an inclusive and cooperative environment, actively engaging in problem-solving and seeking opportunities for personal and professional growth.

QUALIFICATIONS:

High School diploma or equivalent is required. Previous retail or sales experience is preferred. Candidates must be at least 18 years old.

Excellent communication and customer service skills are essential. Ability to adapt to technology and maintain strong organizational skills in a fast-paced setting is necessary.

Regular attendance is critical to meet the company's operational goals. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, is required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

This role involves constant walking and standing throughout the shift, with occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs. and frequent climbing.
