Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a dedicated team of over 20 personnel in support of government initiatives.
- Supervise subcontractors to guarantee adherence to project deliverables and budget constraints.
- Develop and maintain work breakdown structures, outlining action items and timelines.
- Manage project financials to ensure expenditures remain within established limits.
- Provide strategic insights and direction for project delivery and management.
- Collaborate with clients to prioritize engagements and lead the successful execution of project deliverables.
- Utilize data analytics and insights to resolve challenges alongside the engagement team.
- Maintain close communication with client leadership to provide timely updates on project progress.
- Ensure the engagement team meets all deliverables as per client directives.
- Foster a collaborative team environment to achieve specific business objectives as defined by clients.
- Identify and mitigate risks to safeguard project outcomes.
- Regularly report project status updates to ASHLIN leadership.
- Explore and identify new business opportunities through existing client relationships.
Qualifications:
- Must reside in the Maryland area and be available for part-time work.
- Master's degree in a relevant discipline from an accredited institution.
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in project management, leading teams of 20 or more.
- PMP Certification from PMI is required.
- Exceptional technical writing capabilities.
- Experience managing Army government contracts in areas such as administrative support, program evaluation, and data analysis (minimum of 5 years); familiarity with at least three of the specified areas is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Project Management Office (PMO) government contracts, particularly with the U.S. Army Medical Research & Development Command (USAMRDC) or Congressionally Directed Medical Research Programs (CDMRP).
- Background in projects involving data collection, analysis, and evaluation.
- Experience leading program evaluation teams.
- Business development skills and the ability to leverage professional relationships.
