Position Overview:
This position is onsite, Monday through Friday. The Collections Supervisor will be responsible for:
- Providing guidance and support to the Collections team in their daily activities, including monitoring accounts with overdue balances and conducting ongoing training.
- Collaborating with team members to effectively manage credit risks associated with accounts exceeding limits.
- Maintaining strong relationships with high-volume clients by working closely with the sales team to manage overall risk.
- Ensuring that overdue accounts are addressed promptly and effectively.
- Assisting in the resolution of complex collections matters.
- Supporting branch locations in resolving daily operational challenges.
- Overseeing a small portfolio of accounts receivable.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Minimum of 2 years in a leadership or management role.
- At least 5 years of experience in a high-volume collections environment.
- Familiarity with accounting principles and general ledger reconciliation.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Experience in collections or accounts receivable within the construction industry is highly desirable.
