Job Summary

The Accounts Receivable Collections Specialist is responsible for ensuring incoming payments are processed and accurately posted to customer accounts for multiple company locations.

This position will follow up on missed and past due invoices and collaborate with Corporate Credit Manager and branch personnel to communicate outcomes.

The Accounts Receivable Collections Specialist will follow up with branch personnel and track incoming customer disputes until they are resolved.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Responsible for daily deposits including posting checks accurately to customer accounts, scanning checks into bank and balancing deposit prior to submitting.
  2. Analyze ACH transactions and post to customer accounts
  3. Complete credit card transactions, settling batches and posting when funds hit the bank.
  4. Manage customer payment disputes, with help from Operations team.
  5. Lead collections process by continuously following up with customers regarding past due balances. Summarize communication with management on collection efforts.
  6. Follow up on open aged service tickets.
  7. Assist in audits.
  8. Assist with filing and organizing as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

Accounts Receivable and Collections experience, a plus

Ability to use typical business tools including email, Excel and Word.

Excellent communication skills both written and oral with great attention to detail.
