Job Overview

The Community Manager plays a vital leadership role in fostering and nurturing significant connections within the stylist community to enhance sales and educational initiatives through our retail locations. This position embodies and directs the SalonCentric Omni-Channel experience, ensuring a comprehensive engagement for our clients, team members, and the broader community.

In this hybrid role, the Community Manager will allocate around 40% of their time in retail environments to coordinate events and educational programs, maintain a robust digital presence, and fulfill necessary administrative tasks for strategic business planning and evaluation. The remaining 60% will be dedicated to fieldwork, providing essential business tools, support, and promoting brand visibility and community engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish meaningful and productive relationships between SalonCentric and the local stylist community by engaging with Salon Suites and supporting independent stylists, salons, and local cosmetology schools.
  • Organize and facilitate events to enhance SalonCentric/PPD brand recognition.
  • Identify and cultivate new partnerships with stylists and students within the local stylist community.
  • Collaborate with SalonCentric's brand partners to foster new alliances.
  • Leverage social media and digital communities to enhance engagement.
  • Participate in high-performance activities utilizing omni-channel tools that provide added value.
  • Execute special projects as directed by the District Mentor.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities for innovation within the community.
  • Develop a long-term vision and strategy to support an Omni-Channel approach for operational support in both retail and external sales, driving key performance indicators.
  • Utilize strategic business tools to enhance brand visibility, profitability, and sales.
  • Manage daily operational tasks using company tools, including expense reports, account information, sales reports, and opportunity lists.
  • Engage in regular discussions with stylists regarding promotions, events, trends, and techniques.
  • Enhance visibility and brand recognition throughout the community by encouraging stylists to maximize the offerings of SalonCentric.
  • Monitor and assess sales performance and market trends to identify growth opportunities.
  • Provide updates and reports to internal stakeholders on the effectiveness of beauty partner programs.
  • Drive sales growth by participating in and facilitating educational and promotional events, including area classes, workshops, and in-salon training.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in cosmetic or retail management or 2+ years of relevant leadership experience.

  • Availability to work evenings and weekends as needed.

Salary Range: $68,000 to $78,000 per year
