Position Overview

We are seeking a Lead Production Support Engineer who will play a crucial role in our software development lifecycle. This position requires a deep understanding of software functionalities and the interactions between hardware and software components.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze and comprehend the domain of software issues and functionalities.
  • Utilize programming, scripting, and database languages to develop and maintain software code.
  • Assist in software testing, DevOps, deployment, maintenance, and enhancement activities by addressing programming errors and adapting to scope changes.
  • Implement software development best practices, including technical design specifications, coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operational procedures.
Compensation

Hourly rate ranges from $50 to $80/hr.

Qualifications
  • Over 10 years of experience in developing software solutions.
  • Proficient in SQL querying.
  • Extensive experience with the Azure Platform, including Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, and Function Apps.
  • Capability to design and implement ETL solutions using Azure Data Factory and SSIS.
  • Experience loading data into Azure Synapse Analytics dedicated SQL pool.
  • Ability to design dimensional data models, including facts and slowly changing dimensions.
  • Knowledge of PowerShell and/or Python scripting.
  • Background in Health Plans or Health Insurance.
