York Solutions, LLC is looking for a seasoned and visionary Vice President of Information Technology (VP of IT) to steer the technological vision of our healthcare enterprise. The VP of IT will oversee all facets of our information systems and technology, ensuring that our IT strategy is in sync with our organizational objectives while fostering innovation to enhance patient care and operational effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Oversight:
  • Formulate and execute the IT strategy to bolster the overall business aims.
  • Direct the planning and implementation of technology projects that foster innovation, elevate patient care, and improve operational performance.
  • Ensure that IT investments are aligned with the strategic objectives of the organization and optimize resource utilization.
  • Management of Technology Operations:
  • Supervise the daily operations of the IT division, encompassing network management, software development, cybersecurity, and data governance.
  • Guarantee the reliability, security, and scalability of the IT infrastructure.
  • Adopt best practices in IT service management to enhance performance and service delivery.
  • Innovation and Digital Advancement:
  • Champion the integration of new technologies and digital solutions to enhance healthcare services and patient outcomes.
  • Lead projects aimed at improving telehealth, electronic health records (EHR), data analytics, and other healthcare IT frameworks.
  • Encourage a culture of innovation within the IT team and across the organization.
  • Compliance and Risk Oversight:
  • Ensure that the IT systems adhere to healthcare regulations such as HIPAA and other pertinent standards.
  • Establish and enforce IT policies and procedures to protect patient data and mitigate cybersecurity threats.
  • Conduct regular risk evaluations and implement strategies to safeguard the organization from IT-related vulnerabilities.
  • Leadership and Team Development:
  • Assemble, guide, and mentor a high-performing IT team.
  • Encourage continuous learning and professional growth within the IT department.
  • Facilitate collaboration between IT and other departments to ensure that technology solutions align with business requirements.
  • Vendor and Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Manage relationships with external IT vendors, service providers, and consultants.
  • Negotiate contracts and service agreements to secure cost-effective and high-quality IT services.
  • Act as the primary IT liaison with senior management, the board of directors, and other key stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Healthcare Administration, or a related discipline (Master's degree preferred).
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in IT leadership, with at least 5 years in a senior executive capacity, ideally within the healthcare sector.
  • Demonstrated experience in formulating and executing IT strategies that align with business objectives.
  • Extensive knowledge of healthcare IT systems, including EHR, telehealth, and data analytics.
  • Thorough understanding of healthcare regulations, including HIPAA, and experience in compliance and risk management.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage large IT teams and complex initiatives.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to technology and innovation.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with digital transformation projects in healthcare.
  • Familiarity with cloud computing, cybersecurity, and data privacy best practices.
  • Knowledge of emerging technologies in healthcare, such as AI, machine learning, and blockchain.
