WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Oversee the technology, equipment, and methodologies utilized in the production of our chemical products, serving as the technical authority for daily operations.
  • Promote safe practices within our facilities.
  • Provide ongoing support in chemical manufacturing, troubleshooting, and identifying solutions for operational challenges through expertise in chemical processing and data analysis.
  • Enhance the process knowledge and troubleshooting capabilities of operational and maintenance teams.
  • Assist in production planning, execution, raw material forecasting, budgeting, and cost management.
  • Ensure safe preparation of equipment for maintenance, including issuing lock-out/tag-out checklists.
  • Develop and implement approved process improvement initiatives in collaboration with key personnel.
  • Apply sound economic analysis principles to assess and document project values.
  • Lead the design, implementation, and support of new processes.
  • Create and maintain operating procedures for new products while continuously improving existing documentation.
  • Maintain accurate Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).
  • Support programming development for new processes and enhancements to existing automation.
  • Work collaboratively or independently to boost production capacity, enhance product yield, ensure safer operations, and reduce energy consumption.
  • Manage multiple projects concurrently and effectively communicate progress to stakeholders.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

YOUR MUST HAVES:

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline from an ABET accredited institution.
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.

WHAT WE PREFER YOU HAVE:

  • Bachelor's degree specifically in chemical engineering from an ABET accredited institution.

OUR ENVIRONMENT:

This role may require periodic standing, pushing, pulling, carrying, or lifting. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) must be utilized in applicable settings.
