Job Title: Business Development Operations LeadWe are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Business Development Operations Lead to join our team in New York City. As a key member of our Business Development team, you will be responsible for supporting deals throughout their lifecycle, from prospecting to close.
Key Responsibilities:- Work directly alongside senior members of our Business Development team to drive outcomes across a portfolio of clients and tasks.
- Become an expert in Applecart's value proposition, product, and business model.
- Prepare client-ready pitch materials, customized based on a client's specific business challenges and use cases for Applecart's platform.
- Research business models and news developments for companies across industries to prepare for client pitches.
- Prepare drafts of communications to prospective clients and correspond directly with them to answer operational and logistical questions.
- Join client calls and answer client questions as appropriate.
- Utilize and manage our CRM (Hubspot) system to track activity, manage sales contacts and opportunities, and coordinate prospect outreach and follow-up.
- 1+ years of experience in a role related to strategic communications, public affairs, PR, or sales operations.
- Ability and desire to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment while juggling multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; impeccable attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Powerpoint; experience with basic graphic design for sales collateral a plus.
- Experience producing intuitive, client-ready business decks and memos.
- Experience using Hubspot, Salesforce or a similar CRM preferred.
- History of being a self-starter.
Our compensation package consists of three components: (i) a base salary, (ii) bonus / variable compensation, and (iii) generous equity compensation. The base salary range for this role is between $70,000-$80,000, based on the candidate's experience and skills relative to the requirements listed above.
