The Role

The Business & International Operations (BIO) team is responsible for creating new business units at Fora. As a key member of this team, you will lead the end-to-end process from concept to execution, working closely with cross-functional teams to launch and run a new business. This is a strategic leadership role that requires strong entrepreneurial instincts, operational excellence, and the ability to navigate complex challenges.

Key Responsibilities

As a Business & International Operations Lead, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading the identification and evaluation of new business opportunities that align with Fora's core competencies, customer needs, and long-term vision for transforming the modern travel experience.
  • Conducting in-depth market research, competitive analysis, and feasibility studies to assess market trends, consumer behavior, and potential challenges.
  • Developing comprehensive business plans and roadmaps for launching new business units, detailing strategic goals, key milestones, KPIs, and success metrics.
  • Driving the execution of product and service launches by creating detailed project plans, effectively managing resource allocation, and coordinating cross-functional teams.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Total experience of 6-10+ years in professional environments, combining structured and entrepreneurial settings.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated capacity to exercise sound judgment in a rapidly evolving travel landscape.
  • A strong data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze market trends, operational metrics, and customer behavior.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple high-priority projects simultaneously in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Compensation

Compensation for this role can vary widely depending on experience, with an indicative range of $140k-$180k + equity. Additional benefits include unlimited vacation, health insurance, dental and vision insurance, and a 401k plan.
