This role requires a proactive approach to identifying and reporting any visible issues within the building's structure and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Electrical Maintenance: Conduct repairs on both interior and exterior lighting systems, troubleshoot electrical circuits, perform monthly GFCI tests, and maintain compliance with national electrical codes.
  • Plumbing Services: Address leaks, replace fixtures, manage drain blockages, and perform routine maintenance on plumbing systems.
  • HVAC Support: Execute basic HVAC maintenance tasks, including filter changes, belt replacements, and cleaning of coils.
  • Roofing Tasks: Monitor for leaks and carry out minor roof repairs as needed.
  • Exterior Upkeep: Ensure the cleanliness of the facility's exterior by removing debris.
  • Carpentry Work: Install various fixtures such as whiteboards and dispensers, replace flooring materials, and assist with furniture relocation.
  • Fire Safety Maintenance: Oversee the functionality of emergency and exit lighting systems.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance inspections to ensure optimal operation of all systems.
  • Utilize a computerized work-order system for task management and documentation.
  • Maintain accurate records of work hours, expenses, and scheduling.

Qualifications:

  • Possession of a valid Texas driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in general maintenance within a commercial setting, covering electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC disciplines.
  • Proficient in using computer systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and communicate effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
