The Lead Project Coordinator will oversee design teams, support office leadership with administrative tasks, and contribute to overall office management. Additionally, you will mentor staff, foster the growth and profitability of the RICK office, and demonstrate a commitment to community engagement and industry involvement.

Qualifications

Ideal candidates will possess a BSCE degree, Arizona Registration as a Professional Civil Engineer, or the ability to obtain it through reciprocity, along with a minimum of twenty (20) years of relevant experience in both residential and commercial land development. Candidates should also have at least ten (10) years of management experience supervising engineers, designers, and project support personnel.

  • Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with clients, public agency representatives, and internal staff
  • High-level leadership and management capabilities, along with effective time management
  • Respect and trust from colleagues and public agencies
  • Proficiency in both written and verbal communication

Managerial experience should encompass:

  • Supervision of engineering design teams
  • Management of project timelines and budgets
  • Preparation and oversight of contracts, fee proposals, and scopes of work
  • Extensive experience in client and public agency interactions
  • Responsibility for the direction, control, and planning of the design team; setting realistic goals and making independent plans

Technical experience must include:

  • Site assessments and the capability to conduct engineering design studies
  • Preparation and processing of all related improvement plans for private land development projects
  • Ability to perform constructability reviews and site construction evaluations
  • Experience in providing construction support services
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD/Civil 3D, Microsoft Project, and Bluebeam

Additional Skills
