Summary

B&B Concrete seeks a dedicated and experienced Concrete Project Lead to oversee all aspects of our construction projects from initiation to completion. This role demands a comprehensive understanding of construction principles, meticulous attention to detail, and exceptional leadership skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Effectively manage project lifecycles, encompassing planning, execution, monitoring, and closure. This includes contract review and execution, budget management, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • Safety Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and regulations on all projects, fostering a secure work environment for all personnel.
  • Cost Control: Meticulously track project costs, analyze variances, and implement strategies to maintain budget adherence. Prepare comprehensive cost reports and forecasts.
  • Procurement & Logistics: Oversee the procurement of materials and equipment, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with specifications. Coordinate logistics and manage inventory effectively.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor project engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment. Delegate tasks effectively and provide guidance to ensure project success.
  • Communication & Coordination: Establish clear communication channels with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders. Effectively manage expectations and resolve issues promptly.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of proven experience in concrete construction project management.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction principles, practices, and safety regulations.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership abilities.
  • Proficiency in project management software and scheduling tools.
