Position Summary

RMC is seeking a Computer Support Analyst. This role requires a presence on-site during weekdays. The chosen candidate will be tasked with:

  • Establishing and maintaining a professional rapport with all clients while delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Exhibiting effective verbal and written communication skills consistently.
  • Utilizing customer Help Desk tracking and ticketing systems proficiently.
  • Working both independently and collaboratively to research data and develop analytical methodologies.
  • Conducting the initial setup and configuration of new workstations, peripherals, and software applications.
  • Providing fundamental technical support by addressing and resolving end-user issues related to MS Office applications and MS Teams.
  • Assisting users with access and configuration of MS Teams on designated workstations.
  • Acting as a Navy/Marine Corps Intranet (NMCI) Activity Customer Technical Representative (ACTR):
  • Gathering information regarding NMCI ordering requirements; determining order quantities by site and individual; aiding customers in selecting appropriate devices and capabilities.
  • Preparing Move, Add, Change (MAC) requests for actions related to computer relocation, asset reassignment, port activation, and software reassignment.
  • Updating NET profiles and creating various NET services for NMCI task orders; serving as a liaison with the NMCI help desk for user issue resolution.
  • Facilitating the onboarding process for new users:
  • Coordinating with government personnel to identify requirements; managing setup schedules; configuring IT equipment; mapping network printers; assisting users with login procedures; providing basic user training; maintaining local inventory records; and offering end-user support as necessary.
  • Documenting internal processes and developing local Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Tracking and managing the disposition of outdated equipment in accordance with DoD guidelines.
  • Ability to lift items weighing up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

A minimum of two (2) years of experience in administrative roles supporting Cybersecurity or Information Technology environments. Proficiency in MS Office tools is essential.

Security Clearance

An active DoD Secret clearance is mandatory to commence employment. Selected candidates may undergo a security investigation and must meet eligibility criteria for access to classified information.
