Hours: 8:30am – 4/4:30pm
Compensation: $DOE + bonus eligible + daily lunch + robust benefits

*This role is in office 5 days a week
Glocap, a prominent investment advisory firm, is in search of an Office Manager to enhance their operational efficiency. The successful candidate will exhibit meticulous attention to detail, an entrepreneurial spirit, and a positive demeanor, embodying a mindset where no task is too small. This position reports directly to the General Counsel (COO, CCO, GC).
Key Responsibilities of the Office Manager:
- Welcoming and assisting visitors while preparing conference rooms for meetings.
- Overseeing the maintenance of the office environment, which includes managing conference room bookings, replenishing office supplies and pantry items, and coordinating with building security and engineering services.
- Providing human resources support by collaborating with the COO on onboarding and offboarding processes, as well as IT assistance.
- Working alongside the COO to ensure that third-party service providers (IT, telecommunications) are responsive to employee requirements.
- Managing IT inventory and procurement of devices.
- Offering administrative support, including assisting the Founder’s Executive Assistant with scheduling and limited travel arrangements.
- Collaborating with compliance staff to manage the research calendar and related documentation.
- Assisting the operations team with bookkeeping tasks, such as invoice management.
- Partnering with the COO on special initiatives, including compiling insurance applications and organizing firm social events.
- Maintaining records in designated software (Confluence).
Qualifications for the Office Manager:
- Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, ideally within the financial services sector.
- A collaborative team player capable of coordinating effectively with colleagues.
- Service-oriented, mature, and confident, with the ability to juggle multiple responsibilities.
- Proactive and able to work autonomously, demonstrating strong problem-solving capabilities.
- Highly organized, intelligent, and curious.
- Persistent and solutions-focused, with the ability to conceive, plan, and execute projects.
- Professional demeanor and discretion in all interactions.
- Comfortable utilizing various technology platforms (e.g., Microsoft Suite, CorpAxe, Confluence).
- Verification of identity, education, prior employment, and references may be required.
