8:00 A.M - 4:00 P.M

Position Overview

Under general supervision, with the freedom for independent judgment and initiative, this role assists in the planning, organizing, controlling, and coordinating of administrative and office operations across various organizational settings and modalities in delivering business and management support systems, as well as health care and patient support systems. This position integrates these programs, functions, and services with other hospitals and Central Office sectors to enhance performance levels in coordinating such activities.

Key Responsibilities
1. Conducts analyses related to the service/program and evaluates modifications and developments of systems and procedures to enhance departmental operations. Makes recommendations and implements changes.
2. Aids in the strategic planning for the service/program through consultations with management and professional staff from various health care fields to align patient and management objectives.
3. Acts as a liaison between department administrative, technical, and professional divisions and Central Office management.
4. Assists in budgetary planning, reviews operational costs, conducts cost studies, and prepares departmental budgets.
5. Supports the planning and development of training programs to ensure personnel proficiency and the effective use of new equipment and methods.
6. Evaluates office productivity, revises procedures, or creates new forms or methods to enhance workflow efficiency.
7. Reviews official directives and correspondence to identify changes in Corporate, facility, or departmental programs, policies, procedures, and new assignments or responsibilities.
8. Establishes standardized correspondence procedures and style practices.
9. Develops procedures for the systematic retention, protection, retrieval, transfer, and disposal of records.
10. May provide administrative supervision for a comprehensive health service program involving professional and non-professional staff and related health care personnel.
11. Responsible for supervising employee performance and development within assigned areas of responsibility.
12. Oversees the office administration and record-keeping activities of the department.
13. Assigns and schedules staff based on workload, space, and equipment availability.
14. Reviews, prepares, and revises operational manuals and procedures.
15. May represent the departmental administrator in external engagements with community organizations.

Minimum Qualifications
1. A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Business Administration, Community Health, Psychology, or a related field, along with one year of full-time experience in a supervisory or administrative role within business management systems, general administration, or health care and medical/patient systems administration; or,
2. A satisfactory combination of education, training, and experience.
