The successful applicant will coordinate and lead projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery, adherence to scope, and budget compliance.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:


Proposal Development:

  • Create thorough and persuasive proposals through detailed analysis and collaboration with the field sales representative, the customer's machine builder application, and design engineers.
  • Devise innovative technical solutions customized to fulfill client needs.
  • Calculate feeding solutions inclusive of all additional components.
  • Prepare refined and professional offers, ensuring clarity and professionalism.
  • Discuss and present the proposal with the sales team, making necessary adjustments.

Comprehensive Project Oversight:

  • Take full project ownership, ensuring alignment with deadlines, budget considerations, and quality benchmarks.
  • Manage claims and effectively address challenges that may arise during the project lifecycle.
  • Facilitate internal escalation processes in response to project obstacles.
  • Coordinate project-related meetings, working closely with personnel from relevant departments.
  • Oversee coordination and acceptance procedures both internally and at the client's location.

Sales Assistance:

  • Conduct joint customer visits and consultations during the inquiry and conceptual phases.
  • Communicate solution concepts to clients, ensuring a comprehensive understanding.
  • Provide technical support in virtual meetings, serving as a valuable resource for the operations team.
  • Act as the primary contact for operational/application inquiries, offering prompt and knowledgeable assistance.

This role requires a proactive approach, encompassing meticulous proposal creation, extensive project management, and dedicated sales support. The successful candidate will be instrumental in developing feeding solutions, crafting and communicating persuasive proposals, ensuring smooth project progression, and providing essential technical support to the sales and operations teams.


QUALIFICATIONS:


The ideal candidate will possess a robust educational background, technical proficiency, and a proven track record in the feeding and automation sector. Excellent communication and negotiation skills are essential, along with the ability to collaborate effectively across internal departments and with external partners.


REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics-Precision Engineering, or two to three years of relevant experience.
  • Proficient in project management with a solid understanding of project controlling, ensuring alignment with timelines and budgets.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally with design, assembly, manufacturing, and Quality Management (QM) to achieve project goals.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, adept at delivering compelling presentations to diverse audiences, and effective negotiation skills focused on maintaining project integrity.
  • Experience in engaging with customers, understanding their needs, and ensuring satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Decision-maker and problem-solver, adaptable to changing project requirements and dynamic work environments.
  • Willingness to travel and work flexible hours to meet project demands and support international collaborations.
  • Proficient in standard office applications.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven Key Account Leadership skills, ideally within the automation customer base.
  • Experience in the automation/machine building sector.
  • Familiarity with CAD-CAM software is preferred.
  • Experience in feeding technology is advantageous.
  • Validated ability to create and present presentations regarding the subject matter to advance opportunities.
  • Detail-oriented, capable of working well under pressure.
  • Able to multitask in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment; strong initiative and sound judgment.
  • Proficient in English, with a preference for additional language skills to facilitate effective communication in a global context.
