About the Role

Sodexo is seeking an experienced Environmental Services Manager to provide leadership at a prestigious educational institution. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of exceptional facilities management services, creating a clean, healthy, and comfortable environment for students, faculty, and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Team Management: Provide guidance and direction to custodial staff, ensuring they meet the highest standards of service and technical execution.
  • Operational Excellence: Implement Sodexo's innovative programs to provide best-in-class facilities management services, driving client satisfaction and employee engagement.
  • Customer Service: Foster strong relationships with clients and customers, providing exceptional service and support to meet their needs.
  • Financial Management: Manage budgets and resources effectively, ensuring the efficient delivery of services and the achievement of financial targets.
  • Training and Development: Coordinate and conduct employee training, ensuring staff have the skills and knowledge required to excel in their roles.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with Sodexo's safety and loss prevention programs, as well as regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Leadership Experience: Proven track record of leading and managing teams, with a focus on driving results and improving customer satisfaction.
  • Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of housekeeping systems and procedures, with experience in facilities management or a related field.
  • Financial Acumen: Strong financial management skills, with experience in budgeting and resource allocation.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, customers, and staff.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in the use of technology, including computers and other software applications.
