Role Summary

As an Operations Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the operational requirements of the support services department. Your responsibilities will include coordinating the efforts of frontline staff and acting as a liaison between administration and various departments to ensure the highest service standards are met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and review operational standards and procedures for all personnel.
  • Plan staffing schedules and allocate work areas to ensure service efficiency.
  • Assist in the recruitment process, including interviewing and training new staff members.
  • Orient, mentor, and supervise all supervisory and housekeeping personnel.
  • Conduct regular facility inspections and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Prepare monthly reports detailing goals, achievements, and future objectives.
  • Facilitate ongoing staff education and training programs.
  • Maintain effective communication with staff, administration, and other departments.
  • Coordinate external services such as pest control, window cleaning, and waste management.
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in support services, military, housekeeping, or facilities maintenance.
  • At least 1 year of supervisory experience in a customer-focused support service environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Capable of maintaining organization in a dynamic and high-pressure environment.
  • Demonstrated initiative, responsibility, flexibility, and leadership qualities.
  • Thorough understanding of contract management and office procedures.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • A Bachelor's degree is preferred.
