Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our culinary team at Chamonix Casino Hotel. As a key member of our kitchen operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food and service to our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management: Provide guidance and direction to kitchen staff, ensuring seamless execution of menu items and exceptional guest service.
  • Menu Planning and Execution: Collaborate with the culinary team to plan and execute menus, ensuring consistency and quality.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels, ordering, and storage to minimize waste and optimize efficiency.
  • Sanitation and Safety: Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all health and safety protocols.
  • Training and Development: Train and develop new hires, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and service.
  • Personnel Management: Assist with personnel-related matters, including interviewing, hiring, scheduling, and performance management.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensure all kitchen equipment is properly maintained and in good working order.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Sous Chef or equivalent position.
  • Proven track record of leadership and management in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
