Job Summary

Chamonix Casino Hotel is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Hospitality Steward to join our culinary team. As a key member of our department, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation in our kitchens.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain Kitchen Operations: Ensure the cleanliness and organization of all kitchen areas, including walk-in coolers, floors, walls, rolling equipment, small wares, china, glass, and silverware.
  • Assist Chief Steward: Collaborate with the Chief Steward to maintain and upkeep all kitchens on property or at off-site events, as assigned.
  • Deep Cleaning: Perform bi-monthly deep cleans of each food preparation area to ensure total cleanliness and sanitation.
  • Inventory Management: Update inventory of china, glassware, and flatware, and ensure dilution ratios and dispensing units are kept in working order.
  • Communication: Communicate daily with the Executive Sous Chef and/or Tournant Chef and/or Chief Steward to provide updates on current levels of glasses, china, and silverware, and to plan staffing requirements for banquet functions.
  • Other Duties: Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
