We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at Baja Billy's Mexican Cantina, a part of Full House Resorts. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food preparation and presentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional internal and external guest service, ensuring a positive dining experience for all patrons.
- Establish daily staff priorities and assign production and prep tasks to staff to execute, ensuring efficient and effective kitchen operations.
- Ensure all menu items are prepared following recipes and presentation guidelines, maintaining the highest standards of quality and presentation.
- Collaborate with the Chef and other kitchen staff to develop and implement new menu ideas and promotions.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Sous Chef in a high-volume restaurant or hospitality setting.
- Proven track record of providing exceptional guest service and leading a team to achieve high standards of quality and presentation.
- Strong knowledge of menu planning, food preparation, and presentation techniques.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
