PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Punctually reports for duty as scheduled, dressed in the appropriate uniform, including a nametag. A gaming license must be displayed if applicable.
  2. Demonstrates the ability to consistently and efficiently create a variety of baked goods, paying close attention to quality, presentation, flavor, and other essential details.
  3. Follows recipe guidelines and established protocols to prepare all baked items.
  4. Ensures that all baked products meet the established quality standards to guarantee guest satisfaction.
  5. Maintains a clean and organized kitchen environment at all times, performing regular cleaning and organizational tasks, including stock rotation, sweeping, and mopping. Ensures thorough cleaning is completed at the end of each shift as required.
  6. Contributes to the training, orientation, and development of the Culinary Department staff, providing performance feedback for evaluations and disciplinary actions.
  7. Assists in the preparation and oversight of all baked goods for 980 Prime, ensuring compliance with contract specifications.
  8. Utilizes creativity and innovation in the preparation of desserts and baked items.
  9. Maintains frequent communication with kitchen personnel to ensure timely preparation of bakery items.
  10. Fosters and maintains positive relationships and a favorable image with all guests and team members.
  11. Receives ongoing training and guidance from the Sous Chef, Executive Chef, Floor Supervisor, and Restaurant Manager.
  12. Adheres to all safety and health regulations, internal policies, and the Colorado Limited Gaming Act in all tasks performed.
  13. Remains vigilant regarding all responsibilities and maintains a general awareness of restaurant operations, keeping supervisors informed of any concerns related to the quality and variety of baked goods.
  14. Completes additional tasks and special projects as assigned.
$24+ per hour based on experience.
