SENIOR KEY ACCOUNTS EXECUTIVE

Territory: Southern territory (TX, LA, AL) or Northeast territory

Location: Remote office, preference for candidates residing within the designated territory

ROLE OVERVIEW:

  • Oversees a well-established customer portfolio with a sustained territory value ranging from $30 million to $45 million, encompassing both strategic and transactional accounts.
  • Focuses on maintaining and expanding sales within the midwestern United States.
  • Manages accounts that include customer inventory programs, collaborating with clients to uphold item forecasts and ensure timely inventory replenishment.
  • Sales efforts are primarily concentrated in the Transportation, Industrial, and Aerospace sectors, while also catering to clients in other industries such as Energy and Oil & Gas.
  • Aims to generate at least 10% new profitable sales annually through targeted business development initiatives across the Eastern and Western United States.
  • Allocates up to 25% of time to foster growth through engagement with both new and existing customers utilizing a range of products.
  • Coordinates time and territory management in collaboration with management on a monthly basis.
  • Undertakes additional responsibilities and special projects as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Four-year degree in Marketing or a related field is preferred; a High School Diploma is required.
  • Over 10 years of experience in sales and relationship management.
  • Proven project management skills, including effective team management and resource planning.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret business issues and recommend best practices.
  • Experience in financial management, including cost monitoring and budget management for large projects.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • In-depth knowledge of market dynamics and pricing strategies.
  • Ability to adapt and stay organized amidst changing priorities.
  • Results-driven with a high energy level and strong goal orientation.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong emphasis on quantitative decision-making.
  • Demonstrated ability to resolve conflicts and make sound business decisions.
