We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Business Development Manager to join our team at Cornerstone Building Brands. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for formulating and executing business strategies to expand our customer base.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement business strategies to drive growth and increase revenue
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance value at various organizational levels
  • Conduct regular business meetings with clients to identify opportunities and drive growth
  • Ensure achievement of set objectives, implement sales strategies, and maintain key performance indicators for profitable outcomes
  • Work closely with sales teams to support partners in meeting targets
  • Provide customer feedback to refine sales strategies and foster channel growth
  • Stay updated on industry trends to anticipate customer needs and leverage market opportunities
  • Exemplify core values in all aspects of work, leading with integrity, teamwork, innovation, and safety

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in managing business accounts
  • Willingness to travel when necessary
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills
  • Prior experience in the building materials sector is a plus
  • Expertise in executive-level sales
  • Proven ability to navigate complex organizations to achieve objectives
  • Understanding of market trends and their impact on customers
  • Familiarity with the value proposition and effective communication of the company
  • Proficiency in account planning and relationship building both virtually and in person
  • Knowledge of competitor value propositions for competitive advantage
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
