Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Account Executive to join our team. As a Business Account Executive, you will be responsible for selling primary and ancillary communications solutions to small and medium-sized businesses within a specified territory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prospect for new customers and sell bundled services to expand the customer base within your assigned territory.
  • Develop and implement a Territory Plan to achieve sales and revenue goals.
  • Place orders through order management software and work with the Account Coordinator to ensure accurate and timely administrative work.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales and prospecting activities, including sales calls, presentations, closed sales, and follow-up activities.
  • Meet and exceed performance standards as defined by the department Standards of Performance (SOP) and the Spectrum Way Sales Model.
Requirements
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
  • Knowledge of communications technologies and services, with an emphasis on telephone and Internet fundamentals.
  • Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Outside sales experience in a high-transaction, short-closing-cycle model.
  • Business-to-business sales experience.
  • Proven sales history of meeting or exceeding targets.
Working Conditions

Office environment and/or outside environment with exposure to inclement weather. Exposure to moderate noise levels.

The base pay for this position generally ranges from $47,800.00 to $94,900.00, with a commission earnings target starting at $54,000.
