About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading provider of intricate, high-volume, fine-walled castings, as well as fully-assembled subunits and parts derived from castings. As a key member of the engineering team, you will be responsible for collaborating with customers to finalize manufacturing documentation, ensuring approval for production qualification, and optimizing component design for cost-effective production.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with customers to finalize manufacturing documentation and optimize component design for cost-effective production.
• Address and resolve manufacturing challenges, including inspection and testing issues, by initiating corrective actions.
• Define equipment specifications, enhance manufacturing techniques, and integrate new process equipment while coordinating with design teams.
• Evaluate engineering changes, liaise with production planning and engineering, and suggest improvements for product quality and procedures.
• Provide advisory support for production analysis, compile data, prepare technical assessments, and recommend methods to meet design objectives for new/improved products.

Requirements

The successful candidate will have:
• Blueprint interpreting and technical writing skills.
• Measuring techniques and methodologies knowledge.
• Program management knowledge.
• Customer interfacing experience a plus.
