Description

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop components, conduct materials testing, and prepare specifications.
  • Complete component manufacturing documentation and secure customer approvals to qualify for production.
  • Investigate and resolve manufacturing and testing problems.
  • Establish equipment specifications, enhance manufacturing techniques, and introduce new process equipment.
  • Review and evaluate engineering changes, and liaise with production planning and engineering teams.
  • Recommend design and development alterations to enhance product quality and procedures.
  • Prepare engineering schematics and parts lists for manufacturing planning.
  • Analyze and evaluate production practices, recommend improvements, and conduct method and time standard analyses.
  • Lead targeted product and process improvement efforts and ensure timely and efficient delivery of commitments.

Profile

Ideal Candidate:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience, with at least 5 years in a relevant role.
  • Strong understanding of various engineering concepts and principles.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in computer applications, including MS Office, technical modeling software, and statistical analysis tools.
