Description
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop components, conduct materials testing, and prepare specifications.
- Complete component manufacturing documentation and secure customer approvals to qualify for production.
- Investigate and resolve manufacturing and testing problems.
- Establish equipment specifications, enhance manufacturing techniques, and introduce new process equipment.
- Review and evaluate engineering changes, and liaise with production planning and engineering teams.
- Recommend design and development alterations to enhance product quality and procedures.
- Prepare engineering schematics and parts lists for manufacturing planning.
- Analyze and evaluate production practices, recommend improvements, and conduct method and time standard analyses.
- Lead targeted product and process improvement efforts and ensure timely and efficient delivery of commitments.
Profile
Ideal Candidate:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience, with at least 5 years in a relevant role.
- Strong understanding of various engineering concepts and principles.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Proficient in computer applications, including MS Office, technical modeling software, and statistical analysis tools.
