Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Front of House Manager to join our team. As a Front of House Manager, you will be responsible for leading our front-of-house staff, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining a positive and efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage front-of-house staff, including hiring, training, and development
- Ensure seamless front-of-house operations, including effective implementation of changes to service and resolution of guest issues
- Organize and direct the organization of front-of-house work spaces, including server stations, beverage stations, and storage areas
- Establish and maintain a culture of excellent service among staff, ensuring every customer receives a high-quality experience
- Manage wine and beer selections, including seasonal menu transitions and staff training
- Inventory and purchase necessary items, including alcohol, office supplies, and restaurant supplies
- Monitor and respond to customer and vendor inquiries via phone and email
- Coordinate catering requests and assist in the planning and execution of catered events
- Manage online presence, including website, online ordering, and social media platforms
- Interact with the community to facilitate donations to local organizations and non-profits
- At least 2 years of experience as a supervisor or manager in the retail and/or food service industry
- Confident presence when speaking in front of groups of people
- Strong computer skills
- Able to provide great service with enthusiasm and energy throughout scheduled shifts
- Able to work a flexible schedule
- Passion for excellent guest service and hospitality
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
